Julie is our February #MomCrush and we will tell you why!!! She is one of the kindest people we have ever been so lucky to spend time with! She recently hosted the Coaldale Handmade Market and asked us to be a part of it. She made us feel comfortable and at home the minute we arrived.
It is so nice to have such positive people in your life and she is one of our number ones in this department! She makes woodworking look simple and has the best attitude to match. Check out her kick ass work here
You go girl! You are owning this #bossbabe thing! I owe you a Twisted Tea next time we meet..... ya she gives out free drinks to her favorites 🙅♀️.

1) If you could give any advice to a new parent, what would it be?
"Remember to love your significant other. Trust me, you gonna hate them most days especially in the early months...it might take a year and a half to finally be back to somewhat “normal” life again, but you’ll get there
I had 4 kids in 5 years, so I was always pregnant, nursing, or postpartum. Be carful when having kids so close and not letting your hormones cool down. It can be a lot of ups and downs so having a supportive & understanding shoulder to lean on is important."
2) When you have had an exceptionally long day and you don’t feel like cooking, what is your quick go-to meal for the kids?
"100% Pasta. My kids will always eat pasta!"
3) what's your favorite thing to do on date night?
"Lately we are all about Hurricanes Hockey! But I really just love being around my husband (he owns a large company and 2 smaller businesses, he’s a busy guy!). So even just going for a drive is a great time."
4) What treat will you never say no to?
"Diet Coke. Especially during dollar days at McDonalds! It’s basically a food group for me #sorrynotsorry"
5) What is your favourite thing to do during ‘Mommy’s alone time’?
"Mom time can be spent doing 3 things:
- Garage time. I love me some ALONE build time
- Mom’s night out with the gals.
- Shopping. Always shopping, with a Diet Coke in hand"
What made you want to start your own business?
"Truthfully I never wanted to. I always thought I’d have absolutely no interest. After seeing my husband do his thang, I changed my mind! I want to be successful like that! I hope one day when our babies are a little bit older I’ll be able to put this thing in overdrive and create something amazing, but for right now I’ll just settle for doing what I can amongst raising 4 tiny humans."
